A magical encounter of two girls across time and oceans and an unlikely friendship. Spanning across five-generations of a family in their giant house by the sea, Fish Saw is a collection of poignant and funny stories told by The Little Girl With Glasses and her best friend, Mr Fish.
Created by a team of artists from Japan, Argentina, and the USA, Fish Saw is like Ghibli meets Isabel Allende, with original animation and musical score. Inspired by Sachie’s family in Sendai, Japan, who lived by the sea for hundreds of years until one fateful day that changed their lives forever.“A beautiful, funny, tragic and touching play about the endurance of memory in the face of human mortality.”
